Blue Jacket
The inspiration for this design came from a woollen bridal skirt bordered with a wide silk ribbon. The fine leaf motif of the skirt comprises the surface pattern, while the silk ribbon creates the border. The sleeves and the shoulders are completed with a pointed edge.
The design is published in Solvejg Hisdal's book, Poetry in Stitches.
