Please read through our terms and conditions regarding purchases and delivery from Sommerfuglen's webshop before completing your order.

Handling of orders
When you have placed an order on sommerfuglen.dk you will receive an email which confirms that your order has been registered in our system.
Orders will usually ship within a 1-3 business days.
In the case of a delay of 5 or more business days we will contact you via email or phone.
Sommerfuglen accepts Dankort, Visa, Visa/Elektron, Eurocard, Mastercard, JCB and Diners. We do not accept American Express.
Payment transactions are handled by Nets and Pay Dandomain. Nets and Pay Dandomain are secure and established operators of electronic payments and are certified at the highest security level.
Usually the payment is not withdrawn until your order has shipped.
VAT exemption outside the EU
Orders shipped to contries outside of the Eurorean Union (including The Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland) are not imposed with VAT.
Please note that the goods must be shipped to an address outside of the European Union in order for the VAT exemption to apply.
A non VAT imposed order can not be delivered to a Danish address.
Parcels - Denmark (not including The Faroe Islands and Greenland)
Sommerfuglen offers free shipping in Denmark on orders of or above 600 DKK. Shipping can be to any of the delivery spots offered by POst Danmark.
Delivery to your personal address is an extra optional service that you pay for yourself. The fee is 15 DKK.
Orders below 600 DKK cost 35 DKK for parcels delivered to a Post Danmark delivery spot of your choice. Again the rule applies that delivery to your own personal address is an option that costs an additional 15 DKK.
Orders of or above 200 DKK are always sent as parcels do you insure circumstances.
Letters - Denmark (not including The Faroe Islands and Greenland)
Sommerfuglen has the option of shipping orders of or below 200 DKK weighing less than 250 g including packaging in the form of a letter which is cheaper than a normal parcel. For exaple if you only wish to buy a few skeins of embroidery floss or a ticket to an event. In these cases we will usually ship your order as a letter.
Please note that the system on the shop automatically sets the shipping cost to 35 DKK. If we ship your order as a letter, we will manually go in and reduce your payment to the correct amount.
Shipping fees of letters per 1/1 2014
up to 50g = 9 DKK
up to 100g = 18 DKK
up to 250g = 28 DKK
Shipping fees - outside of Denmark (including The Faroe Islands and Greenland)
Orders shipped to an address outside of Denmark will be charged according to the shipping fees given by Post Danmark.
14 days right of withdrawal
If you regret a purchase made at sommerfuglen.dk and wish to return the goods, you are obligated to inform Sommerfuglen within 14 days of receiving the goods.
The right of withdrawal is only applicable if the goods are returned in the same state as when you received them. This means, among other thing, that labels and the original packaging should be intact.
If the products shows clear signs of use or has in any way been broken, we reserve our right to withhold an amount equivalent to the impairment.
Please contact us via email(email@example.com) in which you state that you have regretted your purchase and wish to return the goods. Please remember to state your order number.
It is not possible to regret a purchase by simply refusing to receice the shipment. You must at the same time inform Sommerfuglen, that you do not wish to receive the shipment.
When we receive the shipment, we will compensate your account with the price of the goods and the cost of shipping from Sommerfuglen to you.
Please note that it is your obligation to pay for the return shipment.

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made in the store at Vandkunsten 3, but only in our webshop.
3 months exchange service
As a special service Sommerfuglen offers a 3 month exchange service on all items purchased in either the webshop or in the store at Vandkunsten 3.
You can either choose to take the items, you wish to exchange, directly to the store or ship the items to us. If you choose to ship the items, both original and return shipping expences are held by you.
We presuppose that you bring the original order confimation and that the items and packaging are in the same condition as when you received them.
Reservations regarding the viewing of products and pricing
The way the colour shows up on different computer screens can vary quite a bit. With that in mind, please be aware that the colours you see on the screen may not always be a correct interpretation of reality.
We do not accept liability for any errors in prices or elsewhere on the website. Sommerfuglen has more than 10.000 different products and errors do occur from time to time.
In case of errors in the delivery or broken or incomplete items
There is a 2 year warranty on all items purchased from Sommerfuglen.
Please advice us via email before shipping any return items to us.
If we recognize the complaint, we will be responsible for (fair) shipping costs and for the shipment itself. In the case of a disagreement we will be following the rules and guidelines set by the Danish consumer legislation.
In the case that a shipment has not been claimed and is returned to Sommerfuglen, we do not refund the shipping costs.
Handling of personal information
The personal data you provide us with in order to complete a purchase on Sommerfuglen.dk (name, address, phone number and email address) are only registered and kept in Sommerfuglen's order system and are not given to third party.
