A very thin 100% alpaca yarn from Peru, manufactured especially for Marianne Isager. The yarn is wonderful for light shawls, but are also perfect to use as an accent yarn coupled with ISAGER WOOL 1 and 2. A strand of Isager Alpaca 1 and a strand of Isager Wool 1 result in a tension equivalent to an Isager Alpaca 2.
