Kalinka is grown in Holland and Belgium, spun in Sweden, sent to Sommerfuglen to tempt all of us, dedicated to linen - a miracle fiber, smooth, strong and lustrous. Linen creates an elegant, durable and drapey fabric. The yarn knits up well both tightly and loosely. The problem is which colors to choose. One colour is more striking than the next. The more you wash and dry it, the softer and slinkier it becomes.
