Lascala is a multi-coloured long scarf knitted in slip stitch and garter stitch with or without fringes.

The scarf is worked in two parts - casting on and off at the sides. The two parts are joined at the centre back.
The fringes are created by cutting the yarn at the beginning of each right side row and leaving the lengths of the yarn hanging until work is finished. The lengths are finally tied into knots along each end of the scarf.

You will also need 3 and 3½ mm circular needles (80 cm long).
