You could describe Mariager as a cape, waistcoat or jacket. Knitted vertically in one piece using short rows. Only one colour is used at a time.

The kit comes complete with all the yarn you need to complete the largest size as well as a free pattern for a scarf to use up any surplus yarn.
You will also need 3 mm circular needles (80cm length) and one 3˝ mm straight needle.
