Winter Warmers features more than 30 accessory designs by Martin Storey using Lima and introducing the new yarn: Alpaca Chunky.

Winter Warmers, an essential collection of accessory basics in simple to knit designs, warm & cosy scarves, hats and mitts feature alongside ‘snugly’ shrugs, bags, cushions and tea cosies. Finish the look with an embroidered autumn leaf brooch or beaded winter flower brooch.
Designs featured include: Wintry Scarf, a very long, cosy, chunky knit scarf. Blanket Snood, a big, wide & cosy knitted loop. Belle Cable Leggings, extra long leggings to be worn straight or rumpled. House Socks, warm and very soft socks for sofa slouching. Noelle Capelet, a neat fitting shrug and Love Heart Bag, a generous tote bag with simple intarsia heart.

For Autumn/Winter 2011, Rowan has introduced Alpaca Chunky, supersoft and chunky (98% Alpaca 2% polyamide) knitted on 10 mm needles, in four ‘Wintry natural tones’ Dove, Sparrow, Wren and Pigeon.
